We feel very fortunate to have worked with Nancy as our realtor! Nancy came highly recommended from our friends who had used her on two separate real estate transactions. Nancy worked very hard on our behalf, and I recognize that I am not the easiest client (particular and have a lot of questions). She has great knowledge of the area and we viewed countless homes over a 12 month period with her and we never felt pressured. At the beginning of our journey, she even wanted us to see homes with her before we were ready to buy just so we could learn how to evaluate a home. We really appreciated this as when we were finally in a position to purchase, we felt very confident in our decision to pull the trigger. She was always available when needed, even on weekends and evenings to answer questions and/or navigate a deal. We are first-time home buyers and when it came time to make an offer, she guided us through the entire process to close and advocated on our behalf. I also have to mention that her network of contractors has been incredible. The real estate attorney she recommended was very affordable and went to bat for us with the seller's title company. During inspection, we learned the home we were purchasing needed a new roof ASAP. She negotiated on our behalf and got the sellers to split the cost with us. She then got a roofing contractor to come out and place a new roof in record time before closing - I was shocked at how competitive the price was (10-12K less than I had anticipated). After close, she recommended a contractor to refinish our hardwood floors and he was also very competitively priced. Though the work is still ongoing, I am sure it will be great based on our prior experiences. We will keep picking her brain on the best people in the Ann Arbor area. We highly recommend using Nancy as a realtor!

Nancy was amazing to work with from start to finish. She is so knowledgeable about the Ann Arbor and nearby market. She is approachable, easygoing and relaxed, trustworthy; we never felt pressured or rushed in our decision making. Nancy was available at what seemed like all hours to answer questions and give advice when needed. We found an amazing home and she made the process sooo easy. We have referred many friends to Nancy and she has found them all amazing homes! I can't recommend Nancy more, she will be your friend and guide through the home buying process!

Nancy goes above and beyond the duties of your regular real estate agent. We bought a house with her and sold that same house less than 2 years later when an unexpected job change occurred. Nancy was patient with us as first time home buyers and always wanted to know our opinions. She was always ready with her own honest opinions which were always very helpful and welcome. Her no nonsense personality and sharp tongue were especially helpful during a contentious closing with a belligerent seller. Nancy became a close friend and we wish we had not moved away!

Buying a home can be stressful, but Nancy Paterson made it easy and stress-free. When we began the process of looking at homes, we really weren't in a rush: we were happy where we were and were only interested in moving if the dream situation presented itself. Nancy is hands down the best realtor around! She is extremely knowledgeable-helping you navigate the market, the pros and cons of each home, and how to best market your house for sale. We used Nancy to buy and sell our house and she made the process as seamless as possible. I honestly cannot say enough good things about her. Nancy did an outstanding job walking my husband and I through our first home purchase in Ann Arbor. She made an overwhelming process as stress-free as possible with her patience and humor. We had been slowly looking at homes over 1-2 years then unexpectedly came across this home right before an international vacation. Nancy went above and beyond to make sure we got our dream home...even facilitating the close as we were abroad. My husband and I are both local physicians, and Nancy somehow coordinated both our schedules. She even picked me up at 8 am postcall so I didn’t drive anywhere tired. That to me sums up Nancy. She always has our best interest in mind. Even after our close, she continues to assist us by dropping off documents at the city amongst other tasks. We couldn’t recommend Nancy more as the best realtor in the AA area. You are in the best of hands with her to guide you through a home purchase or sale. She did an outstanding job, and we recommend Nancy to all of our friends and family. We simply cannot say enough good things!

We were in a bit of a rush to find a place and as you most likely know, the Real Estate market in Ann Arbor is tight. We were not very specific with Nancy about exactly what type of house we were looking for but after showing us 3 or 4 houses and listening to our comments, she quickly picked out our preferences before we even did. She was right on top of the market and navigated us away from houses that were not in good shape. After about three weeks we had the house we wanted. There turned out to be two significant problems at inspection and she was fabulous with the buyers and their agent; she got them to pay for a new roof and a new water heater. If I could give her 6 stars for responsiveness I would. She got back to us virtually immediately EVERY time we called. Even now, months after the purchase, she is responsive to my requests (the house we bought is a rental, I live out of town and need references for local tradesmen). Best agent I have ever worked with.
